Make Site One Your Home Page
What is the first page you see when your Web Browser
(such as AOL, Netscape, or Internet Explorer) launches? Did you know you
can change that? When you launch into the Web, why not start at Site One?
We strive to make the Internet easy and interesting for Web users. Updates
are made daily so there will always be something new to explore. Here's
how to make us your home page:
Netscape
- From the Menu Bar, choose OPTIONS
- Choose GENERAL PREFRENCES
- Click the APPEARANCE tab
- Look under the Startup Section
- Click HOME PAGE LOCATION to make sure it is selected
- In the line below, key: http://www.siteone.com
- Click OKAY
- The next time you start your brower, Site One should load
automatically.
Internet Explorer
- On the Menu Bar, choose VIEW
- Select OPTIONS
- Click the NAVIGATION tab
- Look under the "Customize" section
- Make sure the PAGE selected is START PAGE
- For ADDRESS, key: http://www.siteone.com
- Click OKAY
- The next time you start your browser, Site One should load
automatically
America On Line (AOL)
- Start the Web Browser
- Select the PREFS button
- For HOME PAGE, key: http://www.siteone.com
Mosaic
- Go to Site One's home page at http://www.siteone.com
- On the Menu Bar, select VIEW
- Select OPTIONS
- Click on the START AND SEARCH PAGES tab
- Under the "Change Address" section, select USE CURRENT
Other Browsers
Most other browsers will allow you to select your favorite home page.
Look through your menu options for a word such as SETTINGS, OPTIONS,
PREFERENCES or something similar.
