Distinctives - Must Reading

John Bunyan

.

Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners, Various publishers

  • This is Bunyan's autobiography and should be read as a companion piece to A Pilgrim's Progress. Compare Bunyan's self-image and God-image as compared with writers of today. This is a large file which takes a while to load, so please be patient.

The Acceptable Sacrifice: The Excellency of a Broken Heart

  • A seldom read book with great spiritual import. This was Bunyan's last work, still at the publishers at the time of his death. Check back here often for further installments of this classic on Psalm 51.

Justification by an Imputed Righteousness

  • The complete work is here on our site. Take advantage of this exposition of the nature of justification. This is a large file which takes a while to load, so please be patient.

Pilgrim's Progress, various publishers.

  • Classic is too small a word to describe this great and timeless telling of the story of Christians as he makes his journey to the Celestial City.

The Works of John Bunyan (3 Volumes), Banner of Truth, 1991 This is the definitive Bunyan.

  • Since it is a reproduction of an 1854 edition, the typeset is a bit busy but this is the best. Includes classics such as Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners and Pilgrim's Progress as well as many lesser known and hard to find works.

Acacia Bunyan Offline Reader

  • This site offers a downloadable offline reader with a number of Bunyan's works. A very good resource!
