• While a little weak on doctrine, this is an excellent account of the life of the matriarch of Southern Baptist missions. Lottie Moon's life of devotion to God and the people of China is an inspiration to all. One fact that is not examined very closely is Moon's refusal to marry Dr. Crawford Toy because of his liberal theological leanings.
