Please Read the Following Message!
The Web Browser that previously has been furnished with America On Line has a default setting that compresses images more so than other Web browsers. Therefore, the image quality suffers.

Rather than sacrifice the quality of the images in our presentation, we've posted this notice and instructions on how to turn off AOL's image compression.

Coastal Alabama Tour
Dependent upon your AOL Internet Browser Version, the following instructions may vary slightly. Your goal is to UNCHECK the Compressed Graphics setting in your Internet Browser Preferences.

After selecting the Internet in AOL, look at the row of buttons above your viewing screen (EXIT RELOAD FORWARD SEARCH PREFS HOME HELP STOP). You should see a button marked PREFS. (which is an abbreviation for Preferences). Click on that button with your mouse. You may then see several selections separated by tabs (GENERAL NAVIGATION PROGRAMS SECURITY ADVANCED WEBGRAPHICS) toward the top of the window. If you see these tabs, click on WEB GRAPHICS. On that page there is a setting for USE COMPRESSED GRAPHICS. If this has never been set before, AOL will have the box next to that setting checked. Click on the check mark to remove it from the box. Click the OK button on the bottom of that window.

This should turn compression off and you will get the most from the images in our presentation. Use the same method to turn compression back on, if you wish. Please note, though, that this selection affects all images that you view over the Web through AOL. You should definitely consider leaving compression turned off.

If you have trouble with this procedure or find that it is not documented appropriately, please feel free to contact the Web Site Developer and we will respond to you as soon as possible.

Thanks for reading this notice. We're happy to have you visit our site and hope you thoroughly enjoy our virtual area tour.
