Marietta Johnson was an
extraordinary teacher with a simple mission: To make the world a better
place by educating its children to love learning. Known the world over as
an educator and lecturer, Mrs. Johnson went the theorists of the day one
better: she started a school to put in practice what she believed. John Dewey
