Fairway Grade Gypsum. All natural, helps soften hard compacted soils, supplies essential plant available nutrients calcium and sulfur, helps neutralize effects of high magnesium, sodium, and salt injury. Available in Fairway and Greensize Mini Professional spreader settings, and heat seal bags. Professional Series CAL-SUL/L & G Pelletized Gypsum. Gypsum is Calcium Sulfate, a mineral that is mined from the ground. Chemically, it is 20-22% available Calcium and 15-17% Sulfur. Gypsum is a multipurpose product that can improve your soil in the following ways: First, Gypsum is an economical source of Sulfur in the Sulfate form, the form that is immediately available to plants. Also, it's a supplementary source of Calcium, a vital plant nutrient. It loosens tight clay soils, aiding soil aeration and water percolation. It leaches out excessive amounts of Sodium and Magnesium. Sulfur is the fourth major nutrient, and is needed by your turf in relatively large amounts. One pound of Sulfur is needed for every 10-15 lbs. of Nitrogen used by plants.
