At SiteOne, we believe our operational initiatives drive value for all of our stakeholders and will continue to make us stronger and more resilient for many years to come. We continue to enhance our environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) profile in response to conversations with our stakeholders – particularly feedback from our stockholders received as part of our annual stockholder outreach program.

Our associates are our greatest asset and their safety, health, and wellness, as well as that of their families, is our top priority. The support we offer to our associates is an important part of our vision to be a great place to work and the employer of choice in the Green Industry.
During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we implemented policies and practices to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our associates and their families. In 2021, we once again provided meaningful bonuses to our frontline associates to recognize their outstanding contributions to our success in the face of unprecedented challenges.

Fuel Savings Through Our Programmatic Fleet Refresh
We estimate that new vehicles in our fleet consume 40% less fuel than the vehicles they replaced. We continue to refresh older vehicles, particularly those we acquire through our merger & acquisition activity. In 2021, we replaced 70 vehicles, or 3.7% of our fleet, with an estimated savings of 16,000 gallons of fuel per year.
A well-planned drought tolerant landscape can reduce water use by up to 50%. SiteOne offers more than 250 products classified as drought-tolerant selections.
Permeable pavers reduce surface runoff and trap suspended solids, filtering pollutants from stormwater.
More than 100 U.S. cities and towns now ban or limit gas-powered equipment. SiteOne offers battery-powered equipment for contractors, like the Makita 40V max XGT® Brushless Cordless Blower.
Drip irrigation reduces water usage by targeting the root zone with less run-off and is up to 50% more efficient compared to traditional irrigation systems.
