Calamagrostis X Acutiflora Stricta Feather Reed Grass has deep green, glossy, elegantly arched, narrow leaves. Stricta Feather Reed Grass prefers full sun to part shade and blooms pinkish-purple, loose feathery plumes from early summer to fall, becoming very narrow with a golden tan color with age and lasting through fall. It is best grown in average, medium to wet soils and has a narrow, tight habit. Stricta Feather Reed Grass is also deer and rabbit resistant and is excellent for specimen plantings, borders, and banks.
