Description

Cercis Chinensis Chinese Redbud is a beautiful ornamental tree known for its rounded, leathery, heart-shaped green leaves that turn yellow in fall. Chinese Redbud loves full sun to partial shade and average, medium moisture, well-drained soil. The tree produces clusters of tiny, rose-purple, pea-like flowers that bloom profusely on the stems and branches for 2-3 weeks in early spring (March-April). The pendulous, flat, bean-like seed pods mature in late summer. Chinese Redbud infuses charm into borders and containers.
