Description
Chionanthus Virginicus American Fringe Tree is ideal for beds, borders, and wall-side borders. American Fringe Tree bears spear-shaped leaves that turn golden-yellow in fall. American Fringe Tree showcases aromatic, creamy-white flowers that bloom in late spring or early summer. The male flowers have longer and showier petals. The female flowers give way to dark blue fruits in late summer. The deciduous ornamental tree performs best in fertile, slightly acidic, well-drained, moist soils and full sun to part shade.

- Prefers full sun or part shade
- Spear-shaped leaves turn golden-yellow in fall
