Description

Cryptomeria Japonica Sekkan Sugi Japanese Cedar is an evergreen tree with a conical growth habit. Soft, awl-shaped leaves surround Sekkan Sugi Japanese Cedar's branches. The leaves have a creamy-yellow tip and become most intense when new leaves come out during spring and early summer. The summer heat changes the leaves to dark green. During fall, Sekkan Sugi Japanese Cedar gets endowed with crinkled brown cones. The tree grows best in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soils. It is excellent for specimen plantings.
