Magnolia Kobus Kobushi Magnolia is an ornamental tree that is pyramidal when young and becomes spreading, dense, and rounded on maturing. Kobushi Magnolia thrives in full sun to partial shade and moist, organically rich, well-drained loams. The tree has fragrant, obovate, dark green leaves that exude mediocre yellowish-brown fall shades. In late winter to early spring, Kobushi Magnolia produces goblet to cup-shaped, aromatic, white flowers with pink tinges. The tree also bears red seed pods. Kobushi Magnolia is suitable for lawns, patios, and shrub borders.
