Description
Tilia Americana 'Redmond' American Linden is ideal for shade, lawns and street areas. The leaves of this shade tree are 2-4 inch, heart-shaped, bright green and lightly serrated. In fall, 'Redmond' American Linden the leaves flutter in the wind in their soft golden color. A fragrant yellow flower forms in spring, giving way to a winged seed cluster in fall. This tree performs best under well-drained, moist and loamy soils and full sun to part shade. With a straight trunk, the 'Redmond' takes on an oval to pyramidal form.
