Vaccinium Angustifolium Lowbush Blueberry bears its clusters of urn-shaped, white and pink tinged flowers in spring. The blooms give way to masses of small, sweet and juicy blueberries in summer. The glossy, lustrous foliage of Lowbush Blueberry is reddish-green in spring, becomes bluish-green in summer, and acquires bronze, scarlet, and crimson tones during fall. The Lowbush Blueberry is erect and multi-branched, preferring bright filtered sun to shade. It's soil preference is rich, acidic, organic and well drained. Use this fruiting shrub in mixed, low shrub borders, groundcover plantings or naturalized woodland areas.
