Quercus Pagoda Cherrrybark Oak is a fast-growing, deciduous tree with rounded growth. Cherrybark Oak is covered in dark green, lobed, glossy leaves with grayish-white undersides that turn yellow-brown in autumn. The small, yellow-green, cylindrical male flowers and small, green female flower spikes appear in spring. These flowers give way to hairy, orange-brown acorns that mature in fall. This shade tree is a great choice for street plantings. Cherrybark Oak grows best in loamy, sandy, well-drained, moist, acidic to neutral soils under full sun to partial shade.
