Description

Helleborus × HGC Ice N' Roses® ‘Corvina’ is a striking hybrid hellebore (Snow-Rose × Lenten Rose parentage) developed under the Helleborus Gold Collection® brand. Its bright ruby-red, outward-facing, saucer-shaped blooms emerge in mid to late winter (December through March) and often persist into spring, providing early-season interest when few other perennials are in flower. The evergreen, leathery foliage remains attractive year-round, and the plant shows robust vigor and disease resistance in garden settings. As part of the Ice N’ Roses® series, it is prized for its ability to brighten shaded borders or woodland gardens in cold–temperate climates.

The flowers face outward (rather than nodding downward) and are held above the foliage, giving a bold, face-forward display.
The red flower color remains vivid (does not fade rapidly) as the blooms age.
It tolerates a broader light range (morning sun or sunnier spots) than many other hellebores while maintaining vigor and longevity.
