Drexel Simazine 4L is a pre-emergent liquid herbicide containing 42.1% simazine (4 lbs/gal) that provides broad-spectrum control of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in agricultural, ornamental, and turf settings. As a Group 5 herbicide, it acts primarily through root uptake and inhibits photosynthesis in susceptible weed species. It is best applied before weed emergence or shortly after weed removal and requires soil moisture for activation. Simazine 4L is effective in crops such as citrus, nuts, berries, and on sod farms and warm-season turfgrass, with application flexibility via ground sprayers or chemigation systems.
