Acer Saccharinum 'Silver Queen' Silver Maple is a shade tree that prefers full sun to part shade exposure and displays deep green 5-lobed leaves with a silver color beneath. Greenish-yellow polygamous flowers bloom in clusters in March. Ideal for use as a large landscape tree, shade tree, or rainy landscape tree, this tree thrives in moist to wet, poorly drained soils. It bears paired samaras 2 inches in length that mature in late spring. The growth habit of Silver Queen Silver Maple is strong and upright.
