Description

Baptisia X Purple Smoke False Indigo has a dense, bushy mound of fine-textured, gray-green foliage. Purple Smoke' False Indigo is an upright, densely branched perennial with near-black stems. It produces spikes of pea-shaped, smoky violet flowers with purple eyes from mid to late spring. This drought-tolerant selection is excellent for borders, beds, and specimen plantings. It grows best in dry to medium, average, well-drained soils under full sun.
