This cultivar is noted for its large, open rosette of light green leaves adorned with red mottling and red-tipped ends. The 'Albomarginata' variant features wide, creamy white stripes along the leaf margins, enhancing its visual appeal. In bright light or full sun, the plant becomes more compact, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings. It is considered a natural hybrid of Neoregelia johannis and Neoregelia marmorata but is still recognized as an official species.
