Syringa Vulgaris 'Belle de Nancy' Lilac is an upright and rounded deciduous shrub that blooms in late spring to early summer. Dense masses of fragrant, double blooms have mauve buds opening to lilac-pink. 'Belle de Nancy' Lilac sports heart-shaped, mid-green leaves that turn yellow-brown in fall. The shrub prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal for hedging or screening. Prune immediately after flowering each year.
