AWD’s SITEDRAIN Strip Drains are composed of a dimpled polymeric perforated core fully wrapped in geotextile. The geotextile allows water to pass through while retaining backfill materials. The perforated core allows water collection from all sides and provides a continuous flow path to designated drainage exits. With over 60% open area to collect water, SITEDRAIN Strip Drain collects subsurface water more efficiently than perforated pipe. Applications include French & Trench Drains, retaining walls, cut off drains and lawn drainage. Strip Drain can also be laid flat in subbase applications like athletic fields, playground, and parking lots.
