Acca Sellowiana Pineapple Guava bears waxy, blue-gray-green guava fruits with green inner pulp, perfume-like scent, and pineapple-mint flavor. Pineapple Guava is a broadleaf evergreen shrub with dense, spreading growth. From spring to summer, clusters of fleshy white flowers appear with purple tinges, red stamens, and yellow pollen. These blossoms give way to the fruits in summer. The green leaves have whitish undersides. This accent is a perfect choice for mass and specimen plantings. Pineapple Guava grows best in well-drained soils under full sun to part shade.
