Acrostichum Danaeifolium Giant Leather Fern is a landscape plant. Giant Leather Fern prefers partial sun to full sun and exhibits tall, erect, arching pinnately-divided fronds with deep green color and pale undersides coated with reddish to cinnamon spore cases, giving a bi-color look. It thrives in organically rich, moist to wet, poorly drained soils with a neutral to acidic to alkaline balance and grows up to 6-12 feet tall. Ideal for use as hedges, as a specimen, for mass plantings, or along swamps.
