Echinacea Purpurea Bright Star Coneflower

Echinacea Purpurea 'Leuchtstern' Bright Star Coneflower is a beautiful perennial with lanceolate, ovate to broad, coarse, dark green leaves. Bright Star Coneflower blooms purple, daisy-like coneflowers with dark maroon cones in the center from mid-summer to early fall. It grows best in full sun to part shade and requires average, well-drained, dry to medium soils. This clump-forming growth reaches up to 2-4 feet tall and 1-1.5 feet wide and is ideal for borders, meadows, and woodlands. It freely self-seeds if seed heads are left in place and have showy flowers that are suitable for dried arrangements.
