Thymus Pulegioides Aureus Golden Large Thyme is an aromatic, edible shrub that is grown as a culinary herb. It is excellent for edgings, border fronts, and rocky landscapes. Aureus Golden Large Thyme has small, rounded leaves that emerge chartreuse in spring. The leaves mature to green with golden edges and have a strong lemon scent. It is adorned with spikes of tubular, small, pale lilac blossoms from early to mid-summer. The flowers attract bees and butterflies. Aureus Golden Large Thyme is best grown in alkaline to neutral, well-drained soils under full sun.
