× Sedoro SunSparkler® 'Blue Elf' Stonecrop is a groundbreaking intergeneric hybrid between Sedum and Orostachys, introduced by breeder Chris Hansen in 2015. This compact, mat-forming succulent features steel-blue, tufted rosettes that develop a subtle rose-pink hue as the seasons progress. In late summer, it produces dense clusters of fragrant, dark pink flowers that attract pollinators like bees and butterflies. Its non-flopping, mound-forming habit and drought tolerance make it an excellent choice for rock gardens, borders, and groundcover applications. Notably, 'Blue Elf' is the world's first Sedum × Orostachys hybrid, combining the best traits of both parent genera.
