The Buyers Products Under Tailgate Spreader can handle bulk sand, salt, and 50/50 salt/sand mixes and works with 96 in. wide dump bodies. The spreader is built with corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel. It features an anti-flow plate and extended end plates to accommodate taller trucks. A 6 in. auger with 3/8 in. flighting and a hydraulic safety lockout provides steady material flow. It can spread material 2 to 40 ft using a center or driver's side discharge with the 26 in. poly spinner. A direct hydraulic drive system powers the auger and spinner's independent low-speed, high-torque orbital motors.
