Nelumbo Nucifera Old South 'High Cotton - Life is Good' Lotus is a stunning aquatic plant with large, sparkling white, multi-layered 'plate-type' flowers. The outer petals are wide and flat. As you move to the center of the flower on 'High Cotton', the petals begin to curl and ruffle and are joined at the lime green receptacle with golden yellow stamen. The leaves are large, round and bright green. This lotus variety thrives in ponds or containers with still water and plenty of sunlight, flowering between June and August. Blooms are generally on display for just 5 days each.
