Safety: 33% Reduction in Days-away Case Rate

At SiteOne, Safety is in our DNA. Our associates’ safety, health and wellness are our top priority, and we continue to identify and implement ways to ensure each associate can go home safely to their family and friends each day. Our teams have achieved a 33% reduction in days-away case rate since 2019, and our recordable incident rate remains consistently below the industry averages for Transportation & Warehousing and Wholesale Trade. We will continue prioritizing the safety of our people in 2023 and beyond.

Fuel Savings Through Our Programmatic Fleet Refresh

We estimate that new vehicles in our fleet consume 40% less fuel than the vehicles they replaced. We continue to replace older vehicles, particularly those we acquire through our acquisition activity. In 2022, we replaced 137 vehicles with an average age of 8.5 years old, with an estimated savings of 18,000 gallons of fuel per year.

Eco-Friendly Products


Drought-Tolerant Landscaping

A well-planned drought tolerant landscape can reduce water use by up to 50%. SiteOne offers more than 250 products classified as drought-tolerant selections.


Permeable Pavers

Permeable pavers reduce surface runoff and trap suspended solids, filtering pollutants from stormwater.


Battery-Powered Equipment

More than 100 U.S. cities and towns now ban or limit gas-powered equipment. SiteOne continues to enhance its battery-powered equipment offering for contractors, like the Gravely PRO-TURN® Zero Turn Mower.


Water-Saving Drip
Irrigation Products

Drip irrigation reduces water usage by targeting the root zone with less run-off and is up to 50% more efficient compared to traditional irrigation systems.

We aspire to be a great place to work for all our associates. In addition to offering competitive compensation and benefits, we support and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace for both our associates and our customers.

In 2022, we:

  • Launched the SiteOne CARES Associate Relief Fund and matched dollar-for-dollar the first $25,000 contributed by our associates
     
  • Created Hourly Associate Bonus program to reward associates previously ineligible for annual bonus based on business profitability and safety
     
  • Launched the INSP1RE Associate Resource Group to highlight associates and customers of Asian/Pacific cultures
