Electrical Conduit Pipes
Even though many modern low voltage outdoor wires are shielded and insulated, many homeowners want extra protection against potential disasters. SiteOne Landscape Supply offers a variety of conduit pipe that is designed to hold electrical wires and cables. Typically placed indoors or underground, these pipes prevent water, root ingress, soil, curious animals and more from ruining wires. As one of the leading conduit supply companies for landscaping contractors, we can help you set up safer wiring runs to operate irrigation timers, water valves, landscape lighting and much more.
Why to Use PVC Conduit Pipe
At SiteOne Landscape Supply, we almost exclusively sell plastic and PVC conduits. PVC has many advantages over a metal conduit that both contractors and homeowners will appreciate. It’s incredibly strong while being much lighter than steel so you don’t need special equipment for installation. A PVC conduit also is watertight, completely rustproof and has excellent resistance to chemicals and salt.
It should be noted that PVC conduit and PVC pipe are not interchangeable. Conduits have thinner walls, are not UV-rated and have not been pressure-tested. The gray color of our electric conduit piping makes it easy to differentiate from white irrigation piping so there’s no confusion.
Shop Schedule 80, Schedule 40 and UL 651 PVC conduit pipes in connection sizes ranging from 3/4 to 5 inches. We offer electrical conduits in standard 10-foot or 20-foot lengths and can also custom-cut it by the foot. Contact a local branch to learn about more options and special order your pipes for pick-up or on-site delivery.
