Description

Impatiens Hawkeri New Guinea Impatiens is an annual that grows up to a size of 6-18 inches tall. The leaves are in whorls of 3-7 leaflets, oval to elliptic, dark green to bronze to variegated. The flowers are flattened and 5-petaled that come in a variety of colors white, pink, orange, red, violet, and purple. The blooms bloom from May to October. New Guinea Impatiens prefers part to full shade and evenly moist, organically rich, well-drained soil. It is ideal for mass planting, beds, borders, edging, containers, and hanging baskets.
