Description

Cassia javanica ‘Apple Blossom’, often called the Apple Blossom Shower Tree, is a spectacular tropical ornamental celebrated for its cascading clusters of rose-pink to soft apple-blossom–colored flowers that blanket the entire canopy in spring and summer. Native to Southeast Asia and historically planted throughout Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and India, this tree has long been treasured in public landscapes, botanical gardens, and tropical avenues for its dramatic floral displays and ability to attract pollinators. Its lush, broad canopy and feathery pinnate foliage provide excellent shade, while its showy flowers transition from deep pink buds to paler blooms, creating a multi-toned, watercolor effect unique to the species.
