Ilex Glabra Nigra Inkberry Holly has glossy, dark green ovate to elliptic leaves, an erect, rounded habit, and a moderate growth rate. Nigra Inkberry Holly's inconspicuous flowers can be found on both male and female variants. They grow in clusters and singles on the male and female shrubs, respectively. The evergreen shrub grows well as a hedge or screen in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil.
