Lonicera periclymenum ‘Serotina’ is a striking and fragrant deciduous climbing honeysuckle cultivar that combines deep crimson-purple buds opening to creamy yellow-throated tubular flowers, followed by translucent red berries. It’s valued for its long bloom period from late spring into fall and its ability to twine over fences, arbors or pergolas with dark green, slightly bluish foliage beneath. Recognized for its exceptional fragrance and ornamental merit, it has been awarded the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.
