Description

Hoya kerrii, commonly known as the Sweetheart Hoya or Valentine Hoya, is a tropical succulent native to Southeast Asia. Its most distinctive feature is its thick, heart-shaped leaves, which have made it a popular gift plant, especially around Valentine's Day. While often sold as a single-leaf cutting, true growth into a vining plant requires a stem cutting with a node. Mature plants can develop into climbing vines reaching up to 13 feet in length and may produce clusters of small, fragrant, star-shaped flowers in shades of white or pink. Hoya kerrii is a slow-growing, low-maintenance plant that thrives in bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. It is often grown indoors as a houseplant in USDA hardiness zones 10a to 11b
