Description

Hibiscus hybrid Summerific® 'Cookies and Cream' Rose Mallow is a striking perennial known for its dramatic contrast between pure white, 6–7" slightly cupped blooms and nearly matte black, three-lobed foliage. Bred by Hans A. Hansen at Walters Gardens in Zeeland, Michigan, this cultivar was developed through self-pollination of a proprietary hybrid and introduced in 2022. It features a compact, rounded habit, with flowers blooming from midsummer through late summer, covering the plant from top to bottom. This hardy hibiscus thrives in full sun to bring out its deepest foliage color and is well-suited for borders, bog gardens, or as a specimen plant.
