Buxus Better Boxwood® ‘Skylight’ (Buxus x skylight ‘HER2009B03’) is a vigorous, upright, medium-green evergreen shrub from the disease-resistant Better Boxwood® series, bred in Europe by Herplant BV and ILVO to combat boxwood blight. Reaching 6–8 ft (1.8–2.4 m) tall and 3–4 ft (0.9–1.2 m) wide, it features glossy foliage that lightens in spring and thrives in formal accents, hedges, and topiary. As the fastest-growing of the four Better Boxwood® hybrids, Skylight™ brings quick structural impact and robust roots, ideal for mass planting or specimen use. It was honored with the NGB Green Thumb Award in 2024.
