Zamioculcas zamiifolia ‘Lucky’—often called the Lucky, Lucky Classic, or Lucky Wide Leaf ZZ—is a refined twist on the classic Zanzibar gem, showcasing broader, softer, and more rounded glossy green leaflets that present a graceful, elegant appearance. Like its species, it arises from thick water-storing rhizomes, growing slowly yet reliably up to about 4–5 ft tall indoors. Its exceptional tolerance for low light and minimal care needs make it a standout for homes, offices, and low-light interiors—even in spaces with limited natural sunlight. While primarily grown for its attractive foliage, mature plants may occasionally produce a cream-colored spadix flower typical of Araceae. Commercially introduced in the late 2010s, ‘Lucky’ brings a fresh aesthetic to the well-loved ZZ plant family.
