This tree is also ideal for accentuating entryways or framing tall homes and structures. It is a fine addition to yellow theme landscapes. Grindstone Maidenhair Tree thrives well in most soil types, including clay, and won't be bothered by moist or dry soil conditions. Soil pH is of no concern as this tree performs well in both acid and alkaline conditions. It grows in a columnar form with a very narrow upright appearance and has a height range of 25 - 40 ft and a spread range of 3 - 5 ft.
