Hesperaloe parviflora ‘Little Miss Sunshine’ is a compact, clump-forming selection of the Texas native red yucca, prized for its refined size, clean architectural form, and luminous yellow flower spikes that bring a fresh color twist to an already iconic drought-tolerant plant. Unlike true yuccas, Hesperaloe is more closely related to agaves and produces narrow, arching, evergreen leaves with soft filaments along the margins, creating a fountain-like silhouette well suited to modern and xeric landscapes. ‘Little Miss Sunshine’ was selected for its smaller, more controlled habit compared to the species, making it especially valuable for residential landscapes, containers, and tight planting spaces.
