Cornus Sericea Red Twig Dogwood

Cornus Sericea Red Twig Dogwood is known for its bright red stems in winter. Red Twig Dogwood is a deciduous, upright shrub with spreading growth. The tiny, white flowers bloom flat-topped masses in late spring, giving way to white berry-like drupes in summer. The ovate to lanceolate, medium to dark green foliage with hairy undersides that turns red to orange to purple in fall. Red Twig Dogwood is excellent for specimen, mass, and border plantings. This shrub grows best in organically rich, fertile, consistently moist soils under full sun to partial shade.
