Hibiscus Syriacus Red Heart Rose of Sharon has diamond-shaped leaves with toothed edges and dark green foliage. Red Heart Rose of Sharon is a deciduous shrub that grows upright. Large, funnel-shaped white blooms with deep red centers appear from late summer to mid-fall. This shrub makes an excellent choice for hedges or borders. It thrives in well-drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soils in full sun to partial shade.
