Developed by Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrubs, this cultivar offers a modern twist on the classic mock orange, combining old-fashioned charm with improved form and manageable size. Its lush green foliage provides a handsome backdrop throughout the growing season, making it an excellent choice for borders, foundation plantings, and containers. This variety is part of the Illuminati™ series and was bred by Tim Wood of Spring Meadow Nursery in Grand Haven, Michigan. Hardy in USDA Zones 4 to 7, Illuminati Spice® reaches a mature height and spread of approximately 4 feet. Blooming on old wood in early summer, pruning should be done immediately after flowering if needed.
