What is Hydroseeding?

Hydromulching and hydroseeding are used interchangeably by most agronomy professionals. Cellulose Hydromulch, or paper mulch, is an inexpensive biodegradable mulch for ground cover and slopes of 4:1 or lower.

Wood Hydraulic Mulch is made of wood chips that provide greater erosion control and moisture retention on steep slopes of 2:1 or lower.

Blended Hydromulch contains a mix of cellulose and wood for moderate slopes of 3:1 or lower.

Combination Hydromulch also includes seed and/or fertilizer for lawn starting.
